Excel Data Mapping System: ExceltoMap

System Outline Mapping Excel data in one click! The data comes to life on the map.

The Excel data mapping system ExceltoMap is an Excel file with macros. Its extention is "xlsm".
Enter data in the sheet, set up map contents, and press a button.
it will create a kml file and launch Google Earth Pro to display its contents on the map.

This system can create kml files with various functions.
  1. They display place information on the map in various ways.
  2. They enable users to show or hide information on the map as needed.
  3. They enable users to visit and fly around places to look at them closely.
  4. They enable users to perceive both macro- and micro-scale features of the data.
  5. For animal GPS data, they can display the movement pathes and animate the locations of tracked animals.

This system also enables users to handle time data efficiently. Existing data can be pasted for use.
It is useful for storing, analyzing, and sharing data with both location and time.

The system works on both Mac and Windows.

Note: This system is configured to prevent redistribution to avoid the risk of it being altered and misused.

Download the latest system file (2025/09/19) by pressing the above blue button. The file can be saved in any directory.
Mac users need an applescript file in addition. Download the file, too.
Windows users need to perform the following two steps on the downloaded file before use.
